Cyberstalking

Cyberstalking is the use of the Internet or other electronic means to stalk or harass an individual or organization. It may include false accusations, monitoring, threats, identity theft, solicitation for sex and gathering information with the intent to harass.

How have I done my part to prevent cyberstalking?

I am the founder and President of Survivors in Action, a national organization for cybercrime prevention and recovery. As a cyberstalking survivor, I have made it my personal and professional mission to help others prevent, defeat, and overcome cybercriminals.

I have helped procure legislation from across the world on the topic of cyberstalking. Also, cyberstalking legislation modeled on language I created was passed in September of 2010 in the Philippines.

Working with state, federal and international lawmakers, I’ve helped to develop new legislation to protect victims of cyberstalking and to better regulate data collectors and providers.

Currently, I am writing a book — Cybersecure — to reach all victims and potential victims that I cannot connect with directly.

What can I do for you?

I consult with individuals and businesses, including those who are designing software, creating victim programs or developing cyberstalking related literature. Please contact me for information on how I can assist your company with a consultation or online training today.
