As a risk management consultant, Attorney Alexis Moore serves as a cyberstalking, stalking, and privacy protection consultant worldwide. Her unique experience as a high-tech investigator and attempted murder survivor has driven her to the forefront of crime-victim advocacy, where she has been instrumental in the passing of ground-breaking cybercrime legislation around the globe.
CRIME VICTIM ADVOCACY
As a victim advocate, she furthered the adoption of cyberstalking and cybercrime legislation worldwide. Her definition of the term “cyberstalking” is utilized and cited in legislation around the globe and is referenced in law journals, law enforcement post-academy training manuals, and other reference materials worldwide.
A pioneer in promoting cybercrime awareness and victim’s rights, Attorney Alexis Moore has provided assistance to law enforcement and victim advocacy groups in the United States and abroad. Her published works have directly influenced cyberstalking legislation, and she authored the first victim’s survivor guide for stalking and abuse victims to help them navigate the criminal justice system. She is frequently quoted as a cybercrime and stalking expert and has been honored for her work with the National Women of Peace Award.

She has also contributed to a wide variety of nonfiction book projects including self-advocacy handbooks, textbooks, and legal publications.
Most recently her book and expertise has been cited in the Florida 2020 Domestic Violence Benchbook. A Domestic Violence Benchbook is intended for use by new and seasoned family law judges when conducting judicial proceedings.
A Domestic Violence Benchbook is a comprehensive resource guide for judges who are on the domestic violence bench, or who may be expected to review filed petitions for protection against domestic violence, sexual violence, dating violence, repeat violence, or stalking.
The benchbook provides information on every step of the injunction process, complete with flowcharts and checklists designed to provide at-a-glance illumination of the procedures the judge must follow to comply with Florida law. It also contains a legal civil outline, evidence outline, and criminal domestic violence outline, each complete with case law and statutory authority.

She is featured in a PSA for the national animal advocacy organization Red Rover, encouraging domestic violence shelters to allow abuse victims to seek refuge with their pets to prevent domestic violence homicide.
